What is Clinical EFT?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), commonly referred to as "tapping," is an integrative psychophysiological approach that is resulting in increasing scientific interest for its effectiveness in mental health and emotional well-being. EFT incorporates elements of cognitive therapy and exposure therapy, combining them with acupressure, in the form of fingertip tapping on specific acupressure points. Recent advancements in EFT research have expanded our understanding of its mechanisms and efficacy.
How EFT Tapping Helps You with Pain Relief
EFT Tapping may help with pain relief by combining gentle tapping on specific points on the face and upper body with focused attention on pain, stress, emotions, and thoughts. Research suggests EFT can help reduce pain intensity and the emotional distress that often accompanies pain, while supporting relaxation and nervous system regulation. It offers a simple, accessible approach that can be used alongside appropriate medical and therapeutic care to help you feel calmer, more in control, and better able to manage your pain.
It's simple, effective, and backed by research.
