Becoming an Accredited Evidence Based EFT PractitionerÂ
About
Â
Practitioner Accreditation is the foundational level of EBEFT training and covers all the core techniques and concepts of Clinical EFT in a thorough, comprehensive and supervised way. Accredited practitioners will be skilled in the use of EFT and its range of powerful techniques. They will be able to safely and effectively, in a trauma-informed way, handle a wide variety of issues across a range clients, including special populations such as children, people struggling addictions, and chronic pain sufferers, to name just a few.
In order to attain the status of Evidence Based EFT Accredited Practitioner, trainees must meet the requirements from our endorsed certification provider, Freedom Techniques.Â
FREEDOM TECHNIQUES is the sole Endorsed Certification Provider for Evidence Based EFT

Register for a Training1. What happens after I attend an EBEFT workshop — do I automatically become certified?
No. Attending an EBEFT workshop does not confer certification or accreditation. EBEFT delivers workshops and training programs only. If you wish to pursue accreditation as a Clinical EFT practitioner, you must separately enrol in the accreditation pathway with the Endorsed Certification Provider. This is entirely your choice — there is no obligation to pursue accreditation, and any information EBEFT provides about the accreditation pathway is informational only.
2. Who assesses and certifies me, and what is EBEFT's role in that process?
Certification is conducted solely and independently by the Endorsed Certification Provider — not by EBEFT. EBEFT does not assess, verify, or endorse the clinical competence of any individual practitioner, and takes no part in certification decisions. The Endorsed Certification Provider is an independent business engaged exclusively to assess participants who elect to pursue accreditation. All fees for the certification pathway are paid directly to the Endorsed Certification Provider and are a matter solely between you and them.
3.  What do I need to demonstrate to become certified?
To be certified, you must satisfy the Endorsed Certification Provider, through their reasonable professional judgement, that you have: demonstrated a sound working understanding of Clinical EFT techniques and concepts; demonstrated, through direct observation across mentoring sessions and practice sessions with clients, conduct reflecting an acceptable standard of safety, professional care, and respect toward clients; and given the Endorsed Certification Provider reasonable grounds to believe you are prepared to work with clients in a manner consistent with evidence-based EFT practice. The Endorsed Certification Provider bears sole responsibility for all certification decisions.
4. Once certified, how do I maintain my listing on the EBEFT Practitioner Page?
Listing on the EBEFT Practitioner Page is granted at EBEFT's absolute discretion following successful completion of the accreditation pathway, and may be removed or suspended by EBEFT at any time. To maintain your listing, you must renew your accreditation with the Endorsed Certification Provider every two years. Renewal requires you to provide satisfactory evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) as assessed by the Endorsed Certification Provider, and satisfactory evidence of current, adequate professional indemnity and public liability insurance, which must be verified by the Endorsed Certification Provider before your certification is renewed.

* IMPORTANT: As a duty of care to the general public, EBEFT reserves the right to withhold accreditation status in the unlikely event that the endorsed certification provider assesses the trainee to have demonstrated behaviour that is either directly intolerant, judgemental, or abusive towards any client or that leads them to believe there is a risk of this happening. The endorsed certification provider has the ability to not recommend someone for accreditation if they feel the core techniques and skills are not being sufficiently demonstrated.Â
